Bayamón History City Tour

📍 Visit Bayamón City with us:

📚 Know about its foundation, its illustrious people, its biodiversity and its architecture.

🚇 The fun thing about this experience is that you will get on the Train with us. Where you will learn about its routes, including the history of this type of transportation. You will choose a station where we will meet you to travel together to Bayamón.

📌 First part of the tour will be inside the train

We will receive you at the train station you choose. From that point a person from our team will welcome you and your experience will begin.

📌 Second part of the tour is in Downtown Bayamón

We will arrive on the train to Bayamón. We will leave the station towards the town center where we will make stops at historical places, museums, we will talk about the people who contributed in history and the biodiversity that surrounds us.

🚸 This experience is a collaboration between Turismo Borincano (@turismoborincano), Puerto Rico Family Fun Tours (@prfamfun) and María del Carmen Rodríguez (@mariadelc.mrc).

♿️ The experience is accessible: for wheelchairs, stroller users and others who need step-free access due to the building’s historical landmark status.

Important

However, if you are a person with hearing disability (functional hearing diversity) or deaf who communicates with sign language, you can come with the company of one person (free) to help you interpret the message. The person providing the interpretation support must be listed on the registration form (include them in the sixth section of the form) and must also complete a release of responsibility (waiver).

Reservation Steps

🤔 Consider the following:

  1. A release of responsibility (waiver) must be completed before beginning the tour. You will receive the document by the chosen communication method. The form is digital, and you will receive a copy when you submit your information.

  2. In the reservation you must report if you have allergies or any existing health conditions, and identify all the people who are in your group. In the form is a section to include yourself and the people with you.

  3. We talk about the history, culture, gastronomy, and biodiversity of the visited destination.

  4. We will set a meeting point for the participants. You must be at the meeting point at the indicated time. For security reasons, the meeting point is only shared with you after completing the reservation.

  5. If you select ATH Móvil as your payment method, at the time you click the submit button on the form, you will receive an email with a quote/invoice and payment instructions. Your reservation will only be accepted at the time we receive your payment transaction. Send the total amount of your reservation that appears on the document you will receive selecting the Pay a Business option.

  6. The automatic email after your submission form will be sent as Turismo Borincano but probably is going to your “Updates” folder. Please verify your email folders “UPDATE”, “PROMOTIONS”, “JUNK” o “SPAM”.  Some of our communications go to those folders when we send the information through our email marketing channel.

  7. Each participant must bring snacks, water, and money for their food purchases, if the tour does not include it. (Each experience description has the details if some food is included.)

  8. The use of sports and fresh clothing is recommended. Flexible and light colors.

  9. Wear closed-toed shoes that can get dirty. A pair with a good grip on the ground. We do not recommend wearing high-heeled, elevated shoes, sandals or flip flops. The surfaces we will be on could have unevenness and elements of nature (branches, stones, among others).

  10. Bring extra clothes and shoes to change. In case it rains, or you just want to change at the end of the tour.

  11. The use of mosquito repellent and sunscreen should be natural, or organic if possible.

  12. Other alternatives to protect yourself from the sun are a hat, a cap, or an umbrella.

  13. Bring a raincoat ('poncho', 'impermeable') for the rain.

  14. Bring a camera to capture your memories during your experience.

  15. Binoculars for birdwatching, closer view.

  16. Be enthusiastic about breathing fresh air, get to know La Isla del Encanto.
